The Hilton Hotel in Universal City is the home of The Hill | Los Angeles which is hosting Holidays on the Hill from December 7 – 17th, 2023. The event is located at the old pool area and is set up to look like a modern-day Christmas Market.

Visitors can enjoy festive cocktails, delectable treats, vendors, games, entertainment, and even outdoor movies in the evening such as “Elf” and “Home Alone.”
It is family-friendly event with a craft booth, face and nail painting, and activities for the kids.
Of course, Santa is available inside the hotel for photo ops.
There is also a special Jingle Bell Tavern set up outside the festival for drinks in the evening.
While I was there we were entertained by a talented juggler, and a magician, saw one of the Hilton chefs flame a Bananas Foster, had my face painted, and was given a lovely holiday necklace to wear at the crafts booth.
The cocktails which were made using Fever-Tree sparkling sodas and mixes looked divine. It was a little too early for me to imbibe, but adults can enjoy a relaxing beverage while their kids play.
Treats such as holiday cookies, cake pops, and other yummy treats were available as well.
About The Hill | Los Angeles
Sun Hill Properties developed the Hill and plans to host future events at the Hilton where attendees can enjoy glorious views of the city next to Universal Studios and CityWalk.
I spoke to The Hill’s CEO, Mark Davis, about the event. He talked about how the holiday season is special. “It’s all about families and all about the children.” He went on to say, “The Hilton is more than a hotel and it was a perfect time to launch The Hill | Los Angeles to bring people for different reasons to be on the Hill.“
The Hill plans to duplicate this event yearly and add other events throughout the year. The hotel has always been known for its Seafood buffet and people have been coming to the Hilton for decades. More family-friendly happenings will introduce more families to come up to The Hill.
